GENUINE CZECH GARNET JEWELRY
There are about a dozen varieties of garnet found world
wide, they come in any color except blue. The Czech Republic
is one of the few places where the Pyrope variety of garnet is
found. The Pyrope {pronounced pie-rope} is one of the deepest
red of the entire garnet familly. The region of Europe that is
now known as the Czech Republic has a history of garnet jewelry
making that dates back almost 300 years.
